Founded as Nansemond Lawn and Garden in 1983 by owner and President Wayne Mansfield as a family owned and operated lawn and landscape business. In 2003, Vice President Blake Mansfield started his own division — Nansemond Clearing Contractors — with the goal of providing clearing and small site projects to a demanding customer base.
Since 2003 the company has evolved into a turn-key site development company with the ability to perform all civil aspects of construction. More than 35 years in business has taught us the value of versatility — we have the abilities and the experience to meet all of your civil needs.
Based in Suffolk, Virginia, we provide professional services to Commercial, Industrial, Residential, Municipal, and Government clients in and around the Hampton Roads region.
